Airport Security Measures and Technologies

Overview

The Airport Security Measures and Technologies course describes the various security zones in place at an airport and the common access control and identification requirements to access these zones.

The course also explores the types of security measures and technologies used at airports around the world – including both the baseline measures airports implement to prevent acts of unlawful interference, as well as more advanced measures and emerging technologies and approaches. 

This course can be taken as part of the Certificate in Airport Security for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the key concepts and best practices associated with airport security and gain the knowledge required to address modern airport security challenges.

Assessment

This course includes an integrated online assessment.
