This course covers the following topics:

1. Quality in Aviation Security
   • The importance of managing quality in aviation security. 
   • Defining key quality management terms, including quality assurance, compliance, and quality control. 
2. The Legal Framework for Quality Management
   • ICAO requirements for aviation security quality management.
   • National aviation security programs – NCASP, NCASQCP, and NCASTP.
   • The role of the Appropriate Authority.
   • Developing and maintaining an Airport Security Program.
3. The Airport Quality Control Program
   • The purpose, key principles, and recommended contents of an airport aviation security Quality Control Program.. 
4. Quality Control Activities
   • Planning for and conducting quality control activities, including audits, inspections, tests, investigations, and vulnerability assessments. 
   • The benefits of a continuous monitoring approach.

Assessment

This course includes an integrated online assessment.  

Candidates must successfully complete the assessment to receive a Certificate of Completion.
