The Managing Operations During Construction course provides guidance to airport operators and other stakeholders on how to plan for and manage operations during airport construction projects. It is designed to help you produce better and more appropriate plans for the management of, and safe operation during, construction.

This course describes lessons learned and best practices identified by airports that have experience in managing airport operations while construction projects are underway. It also explores a case study to further enhance your understanding of how to successfully manage operations during construction.

This course can be taken as part of the Certificate II in Airside Safety for those wishing to broaden and deepen their understanding of how to effectively establish and maintain safe airside operations.

  • Plans and trials required to prepare for resuming operations after construction.
  • Prohibited items in construction areas.
  • Safety measures required during construction works.
  • Lessons learned by airports on how to most effectively manage operations during construction.
  • Explore the construction works undertaken at Incheon Airport to build a new boarding bridge.

This course includes an integrated online assessment.

Candidates must successfully complete the assessment to receive a Certificate of Completion.
