Dangerous Goods 2021 Refresh

The ACI Online Learning Centre (OLC) has just released a new 2021 version of the Dangerous Goods Regulations Training course.

This course provides you with awareness and recurrent level training with regards to the transportation of dangerous goods by air and is designed to meet the minimum awareness level training requirements for the following training categories as specified in the ICAO Technical Instructions.

It now includes additional information regarding the transportation of lithium batteries and spare batteries as well as changes in allowances of small gas cylinders.

The course is designed for all staff from training categories 4,5,7,8,9,10,11,12 (as specified in the ICAO Technical Instructions) who are required to undertake Dangerous Goods training every 2 years.

The OLC Safety Faculty is one of the largest and most popular faculties for our students. Our safety curriculum is structured to allow busy learners to study at their own pace.

The OLC Certificate I in Airside Safety comprises of five short courses that can be completed one at a time, and in any order. Once all five short courses have been completed successfully, learners will receive a Certificate.

Airside Safety Training

This course is designed to familiarize participants with the unique nature of the Airside, the various roles and responsibilities required to maintain a high level of safety, the major elements of airside safety and some of the common hazards that they may encounter.

Apron Safety Management

This course provides guidance that brings together the best elements of managing apron safety from the experience of airport operators around the world.

Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Prevention

This course assists airport personnel to understand the threat posed by FOD and explores the key elements of a FOD program that can help airports to successfully manage this threat.

Human Factors Safety Training

This course helps build the defences that reduce and mitigate human errors at airports by developing an awareness of the individual factors that can impact human performance that lead to errors in the first place.
