Introduction to Airport Pavements

Overview

The Introduction to Airport Pavements course is designed to introduce learners to the key concepts around airport pavements, including the evolution of airport pavements over time, types of pavements commonly encountered, and performance and regulatory requirements.

This course provides important foundational knowledge and is recommended to be taken before completing our other specialized pavement courses.

The course can be taken as part of the Certificate in Airport Pavement Fundamentals for those wishing to gain a more complete understanding of the key concepts and considerations across the pavement lifecycle.

Assessment

This course includes an integrated online assessment.

Candidates must successfully complete the assessment to receive a Certificate of Completion.
