The ACI Online Learning Centre’s (OLC’s) Safety Faculty is one of the largest and most popular faculties for both airports and airport professionals alike.
OLC’s safety curriculum is structured to allow busy learners to study at their own pace. OLC’s two certificates in airside safety are made up of short courses that can be completed one at a time, and in any order.
Once all five short courses have been completed successfully, learners will receive a Certificate.
The First Safety Journey
The first safety pathway gives learners a broad knowledge and understanding of the key elements of airside safety. Each of the five courses that make up the Certificate I in Airside Safety can be taken in any order:
Airside Safety Training
Apron Safety Management
Human Factors Safety Training
Foreign Objects Debris (FOD) Prevention
Safety Management Systems Training
The Second Safety Journey
The second safety pathway takes learners through some of the more specialized areas of airside safety. Again, each of the five courses that make up the Certificate II in Airside Safety can be taken in any order:
Accident and Incident Investigation
Emergency Preparedness and Contingency Planning
Managing Operations During Construction
Runway Safety Management
Wildlife Hazard Management
